Is EX notorious for hating new accounts or something? It didn't ding TU or EQ hardly any.

I still haven't gotten an inquiry on the Walmart Discover card I just got approved for on Saturday but it's already reporting to EX only, as of this morning. As soon as I saw the account hit EX, I pulled a FICO score and EX jumped from 690 to 699. Maybe FICO gave me a break since about half of my 10 accounts opened in the past year should be falling off of the new accounts radar next month. They were opened in April 2007 so maybe they've already fallen off the radar and that explains the jump...I'm not real sure but I'm going to take my 9 point increase along with my new Wal-Mart Discover card that I've patiently waited a year to re-apply for and be on my merry little way.
