Just a question of curiosity, out of the 5 major banks.
US Bank
Wells Fargo
Chase
Citibank
Bank of America.
Which bank has cards that "grow with you", as isussing credit line increases on a frequent basis?
You mean on their own or SP upon request?
Well, both. Trying to get a general consensus of which bank cards don't stick you with a $1000 limit for 5 years.
I have no experience with WF. Chase and BofA don't do SP for CLI request, it is always HP for them.
If you request CLI online Citi usually try to counter it first. if you accept counter offer or the request was approved instantly it is usually SP.
On rare occasion US Bank, Chase, and Citi will up CL on their own. Never requested CLI for US Bank so I don't know their policy on it.
I would say BoA, but you have to HP poke-it.

I have never dealt with US Bank but I have with the other 4. I started my credit rebuild journey about 2 years ago;
wells Fargo -- started at 3k and still at 3k on 1 card
chase -- started at 5k and now at 64k on 3 cards
citi -- started at 10k and now at 65k on 4 cards
bank of America -- started at 5k and now at 30k on 1 card
so you can see that boa, chase, and citi will grow with you.

Were these SPs and/or HPs?
I received an auto CLI from BoA. My CL went from $6k to $10k on the one year anniversary of my previous CLI. This was right after heavy use on the card. This was a former secured card that unsecured at $1k.so far no auto increases from Citi nor Chase.
BOFA-HP But will give you good CLI and thus worth it. especially with usage and age of account
Chase-Hard, never got a SP, but Doubled initial CL
US Bank-No clue
Wells Fargo-As of recently automated CLI SP from 13K CashBack to 18K on its 2 year anniversary
Citi-Mixed, have had 3 cards with them all CLI via HP
My US Bank Ace in 2 1/2 years has auto CLI from $4k to $6k to $10k. My US Bank auto CLI from$5.5k to $10k in a year and a half. I have never asked for a CLI.
