I got that zero percent card over the weekend...first thing I did was a BT from one of my "subprime" cards.
I'll confess that on some level, it had occured to me that paying the balance in full may encourage the lender to be more generous with the credit line.
When I spoke to the credit union yesterday, they informed me that they are mailing a paper check to the credit card company that I'm doing the BT away from.
In todays mail was a letter from that credit card company inviting me to call in for a CLI.
I called them.
They gave it to me.
LOL.
Wait til they see the size of the check that is already in the mail...
Very nice, should definitely help with your utilization situation. Even a little bit helps.

That is awesome!!! What CLI did they give you?
Umm. It was a $550 card. Now's it's a $750 card.
My balance is $517.78, but there is a check in the mail for $500.

Took my utilization from 61.55% all the way down to 61.14% lolololol.
It's still $250 more than I've gotten in the last 3 years!

Nope, my 15.9K one had regular CLI's but that stopped in 2009.

Well, that sucks.
Between the wife and I, we have WAY too many CC accounts...none of them especially large...but we generally recieve a CLI from ONE of them pretty often...
