PC from AMEX ED to AMEX BCP

Got my ED exactly 1 year ago. Lot's of use through it since then and kep't it mostly paid off. Received 3xCLI about 3 months ago. First time didnt work for me. I wanted to PC to the BCP. Does anyone have any experience on this? How hard is it?

It has been my understanding that you cannot PC from a points earning card to a cash earning card or vice versa. I could be wrong though?
