Hi everyone,
My girlfriend has an Amex BCE for around 2 years now. Yesterday, I got approved for the BCP - http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Approvals/Amex-BCP-Approval/td-p/3675143. Her BCE becomes redundant as a result. She's planning to PC it to another Amex card, which she can use for shopping, misc and (very little) travel expenses. One of the cards I'm looking at is the Fidelity Amex, because of the 2x cash back on everything. Do you know if we can get BCE PC'd to Fidelity? If not, please recommend some other card which she can change to. Thanks.
I don't think that's possible because the Fidelity Amex isn't backed by Centurion Bank. I don't have experience PCing with AMEX, though, so I couldn't say what your options would be within the Amex portfolio itself.
BCE is issued by Centurion Bank. Fidelity AMEX is issued by FIA, although it uses the AMEX payment network. You would have to apply for Fidelity, as it is a different lender.
She will have to call into to determine what she is eligible to PC, as it's YMMV.
You cannot do that. Fidelity Amex only uses Amex's network, it's not a product of American Express - Centurion Bank.
It's issued by FIA (BOFA) I think.

Incidentally, why didn't she upgrade to the BCP and you apply directly for the Fidelity AMEX?

Good question. I do a lot of grocery and gas, that's why I wanted the BCP. I already have Barclaycard Arrival+, and so the Fidelity Amex would have been redundant for me.
Okay, so Fidelity Amex is out for her. Could you guys suggest any other Amex (for PC) or non-Amex card with good cash back, and preferably no AF?

That makes perfect sense. As for AMEX, unfortunately, they don't offer many cash back cards. The only other cash back with no AF (although membership is a de facto AF) is Costco TE. However, I'm not sure if you can PC to that card. The PC offers differ with each member and typically they offer PCs to the various cobranded cards.
If you can't find a good product to PC, you can always just SD and/or perhaps use for various AMEX Offers.

Overall, they have been approving with lowish CLs. Many members have had success getting CLIs with an additional HP. Overall, what you think of Citi DC will largely have to do with what you think of Citi.
In my particular situation, I find the low CL too limiting and I was unable to get a CLI. I've SDed mine and I'm using my QS1 instead. However, many others are quite happy with their DC cards.
