I missed out on this quarter....when will penfed soft me in the fourth quarter for a preapproval ??? Around what month and time period do soft you for approvals in the forth quarter ???

Do you need to have an existing LOC of some kind (CC, loan, w/e) in order to get pre-approvals. I was thinking about joining and using their banking services in the hopes of getting a pre-approval from them eventually, but my scores won't be near their criteria for a while.

No, just great credit and enough cash flow to easily cover the debt load you are carrying.
