Logged on to my penfed account today and for the first time, I saw the pre-approvals blinking at me on the top left corner of the page. When I clicked on it, it said I am approved (not preapproved) for a 5k amex card, 50k auto loan bla bla bla. I decided instead to go for a cli on my visa, and it now says application in review. The limit on this visa is 15k and i have never charged close to 1k on it, but I was requesting a cli to 20k. I really do not not need this increase, but if penfed throws somethoing at you, you better catch it because it may never happen again. I hope this will not result to a hard pull. Please explain your experience with the penfed's love button. BTW eq fico is 708 prior to fooling around with this cli.
