Did anyone else get an e-mail from Pentagon Federal Credit Union announcing a new credit card? Received this today:
A New Card for Our Nation's Defenders
For nearly eight decades, PenFed’s core mission has been to provide the best possible financial products and services to America’s men and women in uniform and their families. This Veterans Day, we continue to honor our pledge by adding a new Defender card to our family of award-winning credit cards.
This card is designed with you in mind—our brave Active, Guard, Reserve, Honorably Discharged Veterans and Retired men and women of the United States military. It is one of the BEST offers available and designed exclusively for you—our nation’s BRAVEST.
Additionally, as a PenFed member, you'll be able to sign up for an exclusive early preview of our new Defender Card and be among the first to experience its best-in-class benefits.
Launch date is set for 11 Nov. I signed up for the preview, so we will see what the benefits turn out to be.
No one else received the e-mail on this? It's also showing on their site.
My Mom just got this email
Yes, hoping for something better than the 1.5% of the current Defender card with a low APR. I'm in the garden and don't need another card, but truly excited to see the benefits.
I didn't get any info. I think it's only offered to active and retired service members.

Yeah, current Active or Reserve component (including National Guard), retiree, or honorably discharged veteran.
Honorably discharged veterans? Guess I need to check this out.
Got the email as well but I know they won't approve me
I have the Amex version of this card, but haven't seen the e-mail yet.
I'm actually excited!
I wonder if they will SP me if I apply....
Edit: Still havnt seen the e-mail myself, but I did sign up to be notified.
