I apped and got the 2 day notice. Might have too many inqs, but we shall see.

PNC is definitely inquiry sensitive. I happened to stroll in a couple months to do a withdrawal when they asked if I wanted to open a credit card. I guess I was being soft pulled and qualified. I told them yeah so I did what was necessary. Got the 30 day notice then I called and was told I was denied for too many inquiries. That was the only reason. I'm sittin at around 23+.

Uh oh, then results might not be good for me, i'm around 40+ inq on EX, which is what they seem to usually pull.

Hey... Ya never know. LOL! Maybe the rest of your credit file looks better than mine and they maybe wanted to tell me no in a very nice way.

I got the 2 day notice when I applied back in December and it was approved. I think they are still manually reviewing most apps.  They are an extremely conservative bank, but they are a good decent bank.

Last I checked, PNC points were worth about .25¢ each, so 50,000 points is worth about $125, so not exactly a stellar signon bonus.

I love PNC. I apped for the Core card for low interest balance transfers and got a 7 day message (or thereabouts). Was approved within a week, with 1 inquiry at the time. I actually appreciate that they manually review everything. Here's hoping you can try again after some of your inquiries age off!
