PNC Flex Success

On Sunday I applied online for the PNC Flex offer I received in the mail.  The offer was for 0% on balance transfers until January 2015.  It wasn’t clear to me if my application was approved – a box popped up that said it would take 7-10 days for a card to be issued but that seemed like a general message so I didn’t trust it.  I called the underwriting department today and was told that I was approved for a credit limit of $16,000.  The card is on the way.  I was shocked.  Delighted, but shocked.  That’s far more than I need for the balance transfer.  Perhaps the fact that I have a savings account at PNC had something to do with it.

I completed a DMP a little more than a year ago.  Since then I have worked diligently to pay down the account I did not include in the DMP.  Earning an opportunity to finish paying that balance without having to pay any more interest = icing on the cake!

Re: PNC Flex Success

Big congrats! I've banked with PNC for years and they won't issue me a CC...maybe one day.
