Re: PRG on its way out the door

What does one typically say to try to get a bonus when calling to cancel? I'm thinking of closing my PRG, but if they offer me a bonus to stay, I may just do it.

I want to close my account.  They'll ask why and go from there

Re: PRG on its way out the door

Yep me too the 195 free up was the nail in the coffin. I might downgrade to the green but I haven't decided yet. MR points aren't worth it to me anymore. I xfer them to Starwood 333 for every 1000. The 100 dollar aline credit is nice but I do very little personal trave with the PRG.

Just make sure y'all get the $100 airline credit before you close.

Re: PRG on its way out the door

I'd take that Plat in a minute for the PRG $195.00 AF. With the yearly $250.00 airline credit it'd be like getting $55.00 back every year plus all the other added benefits, including the airport lounge with free booze & food.
