I see that the image for my QS1 card when I log into my account has changed to the chip version of it, but still the same account number. I wonder if this means I'll be getting one soon?
I noticed the same thing. Last week it was still the unchipped image.
Mine now has the chip card image. No change to account number. They just sent me the QS card recently, so I'm probably pushed down the list for an EMV card.
To me, a credit card is a tool just like a hammer or a screw driver. I really don't care what it looks like as long as it gets the job done when I need it to. The hammer in my toolbox is 20 years old, has some dings in it, and some rust but it still does the job!
I just logged into my cap1 account today and quicksilver visa has no change, ventureone visa is still gold, but the QS1 mastercard has changed into an emv image. wonder if i will get it sometime soon.
Mine also just changed to the EMV image within the last day or so for my Quicksilver card.
OK finally got the new card.. it's slightly less "toy" looking now, with the chip and they brought back the raised numbers and letters. It's also a little less shiny silver, somewhat more steel colored. The edge is black plastic not white.
Once number changes do I need to update the new number with vendors that I autopay?
