Anyone feels awesome when they finally tackle their credit card debt, and pay everything off?
I have been running a huge balance on my secured card for several months, but I just paid it off. I had a balance in my discover card from November's spending, maxed out the remaining credit last month with holiday shopping, but paid it off everything today. The only debt I have right now is with my Amex charge card (1.2k), but I have the funds in my bank account (waiting for the statement to closed, then paying it off).
What a great way to start a new year! Now, it's off to the garden and only using my cards for normal monthly spending. I can't foresee the future, but I have no intention of leaving a balance on my discover or secured card (I am being firm with that). I can't wait to apply for the BCP, Chase Freedom or CS, and Bankamericard Rewards come June or September.
Cheers, and Happy New Year!
Wow, Congratulations!!!! Way to go!
Thanks.
