PayPal Debit Mastercard?

How does it work specially when you have no funds in that account? It pulls it out from my Banks checking account ?  I been wanting a Mastercard and this seems like the easiest way without taking a HP onto my Credit reports.

Oh and would paypal take a Credit report inquiry for this card and any fees for it like a pre-paid card does?

"

Use your PayPal balance everywhere

Use your PayPal balance online or in a store, everywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted. Add a bank account as your back up funding source and use your card with a $0 PayPal balance."

It automatically tries to pull from what's in the PayPal account but you can also link a backup source, either a bank account you designate OR if you have a PayPal smart-connect credit account, you can use that as a backup source too. (a way to get a PayPal MasterCard if you were declined for the real one)

They will do a soft pull when you apply. No fees, and you get 1% cash back.

I haven't been declined but i just don't need or want another HP on my account and gardening to June 2015 which is my plan.

This Smart-connect credit account would that be considered a cash advance or a credit charge?

The transactions would post to the Smart Connect account as regular purchases.

Not really...if you apply for PayPal card you will get HP'd...they offer either MasterCard or the Smart Connect...using the Debit Mastercard is just another method to get use out of the smart connect account....
