Yeah, I've always hit the Increase Credit Limit button and never a HP. But be sure to have your TU report unlocked/unfrozen. Even though Sync should be able to access your report as an existing creditor, when I asked for a CLI on my PP 2% MC it was an instant denial. When the letter came it said something to the effect that they could not access my CR to make a decision. I unlocked TU & tried again and got an instant $1k CLI. I just got the same thing when I tried this morning to add my TU Fico to my Lowes account, they couldn't access it; logged into my TU TrueIdentity account & unlocked it, and got my Lowe's TU score.

I’ve gotten an auto-CLI on my Synchrony PP 2% MC, from starting $3000 CL to $4250. This was after being denied with the luv button for 2 months. I waited another couple months and hit the button to get CLI to $8000.

Kind of have everything I want now, creditwise. Undeliberately gardening until I have some spending to do and find a 100,000 Amex Platinum offer lol

I got a SL of $10k in December. I requested a CLI to $20k at the end of December and got denied. Something like insufficient experience at current limit. I tried again at the end of January and got denied again. Called the credit dept and the lady declined it too saying denial letter will explain. I’m sure it’ll be the same reason. I figured it’s too soon but it’s a SP with Synchrony so I’ll continue to bug them.
