I have both of my Citi cards statement cut for the first time already and my Simplicity was at $0 and my Thank you preferred was around $3 and change. I Now have about $30 posted on the Simplicity and $20 on the Thank you and still get the message the Payment is bigger then the last statement balance .... Is there any way to pay off the Balances through the Website? If not I guess ill just sock drawer these cards and only use it on small purchases ever few months ...
Citi does that on the first billing cycle, but on your next cycle you will be able to pay anytime. Can you send payment from your bank acct? That's how I usually get around this.

Did the first cycle have a balance post? Sometimes if the first cycle is really short (I had one that was 3 days once), I wasn't able to pay during the 2nd cycle until the 2nd one actually closed and posted a balance. I just push payment from my bank and it's credited in a couple days, but subsequent cycles I can pay any amount up to posted balance. That's the only thing that comes to mind, maybe someone else has input.

I posted about $3 and change on the Thank you card and nothing on the Simplicity card
I used the Live chat and also tried to pay it again and while in the chat I got it to go through so either he did something on his end or the payment just happened to go through.
