Paying items such as mortgage, utility bills, etc. on credit cards to earn rewards -- feasible?

Best thing to do is email them first and make sure that you'll get it.  I did that before and had no problem

I recieved a email stating the promo was extended thru the 13th of October. I didn't see it on the site either. Once I entered my payment amount,  the site calculated the fee at 1.5%.
