I was getting some landscape work done. Was told he takes CC. so now it's use my CC to pay him through PayPal.
Is this acceptable? Considered a cash advance? The bill came to $2150. I was going to run it on my Stash card.
Go right ahead. It won't be considered a cash advance.
It should be a purchase. I sometimes use PayPal for online transactions where the vendor doesn't directly accept Discover, and I've never had an issue.
I agree. Should not be a cash advance. Good luck!
Just be careful WHICH card you use.
I used Cap 1, and it was no problem at all. I have heard horror stories about AMEX, so I will NEVER use AMEX with Paypal.
Funny thing is, I have a Paypal card. Tried to use it to pay for my VPN, and Paypal wouldn't let me use my Paypal card.
If it is your first time sending, they may hold the payment. They hold my payments for 1 day when I use a new card that I never used before.
This is turning into a nightmare. So ii cannot pay with paypal. When i call paypal to see what the problem is they say its triggering a security alert and its considered risky for me. yes me!... i'm like IM HE ONE PAYING FOR IT!!! what security issues do you think i have????????????????? whats my risk? the damn works done!
I have no idea what to do or how to get this resolved. had i known paypal wouldn't allow this transfer i wouldn't have got the work done.
