Well, I bit the bullet and verified the PPal extras card and they upped my limit form $5k to $5,750. just hope it does not report with a new issue date and the acccount keeps the smart connect start date.
I will post when it reports.

I talked to a customer service agent about my card's arrival a few days ago. If I remember what he said correctly, Synchrony is mailing out the last round of PayPal Extras cards on June 17.

Reported today. Shows as new account unfortunately.
I double checked all 3 credit bureau yesterday Friday, June 17, 2016 and they all say it's a new account. I was highly upset I immediately called PayPal Extras MasterCard and demanded them to fix this error. My PayPal Smart connect was open on Monday, May 10, 2010 and they have my PayPal Extras MasterCard being open on Monday, May 9, 2016. I'm not losing 6 years of reporting for a 20,000.00$ credit limit. The customer service representative assured me they're going to correct it to reflect the PayPal Smart connect information as being the PayPal Extras MasterCard. The customer service representative mentioned to give it 2 billing cycle before it's corrected. As of now it reads Transfer/Sold/Paid on Equifax; Transferred/closed/Never late, Account closed due to transfer on Experian; ACCOUNT CLOSED DUE TO TRANSFER; CLOSED on TransUnion.
Do you reckon we will need to request this individually or will they fix it clear across the board for everyone?

The customer service representative mentioned it would be corrected on all 3 credit bureaus. So, I'll give it 2 billing cycle before I check again.
I got my PayPal Extras card in the mail today. I activated my card but my credit limit didn't budge....booooooo
