Simply put, is this card BK friendly?

AFAIK, it is.  Gotta keep an item in mind, depending on your overall profile and creditworthiness, you will be considered for the PayPal Extras MC first.  If you do not qualify, you will be considered for the PayPal Smart Connect account...YEMV.

it's GE backed... they are very bk friendly but I would get into 650+ TU score before applying if you are going to get yourself the MC version.
