Paypal MC cli vs. Amex BCE cli

So I'm wanting to call uw for GECRB to get a cli to $10,000 from $7,000. I have like a $1,600 bal on that account... Yes, I know...@23.99%; been paying big payments on it though ($200-$500). I've stopped charging on it too lol... I'm pretty sure I coulf easily get it cli'ed to that $10k.

However, I'm curious to know if a cli on this account would ruin any chance to get my 3xcli on my recently acquired Amex BCE at 61+ days??
I have a loooot of avail credit ($80k+). Hhi is $100k+. I am asking this question bc Ive heard that once you start getting higher limits, your income becomes a determining factor for clis... I just don't want to get a cli on my Paypal MC if it would affect my 3xcli on Amex BCE...

Hope this makes sense to you mFico'ers... Any advice would be appreciated...

If the Amex CLI is more important to you than the GE one, then you should rationally hold off on calling GE.  Prioritize your goals and chase them in order as I do think a GE-CLI might affect your Amex chances.  Amex wants your transactions first and foremost, so if you're trying to build limits through CLI's there (which are worth more in my estimation than any GE-backed card) I don't think it'd help, and it might hurt, to be asking for more credit from other lenders... especially as Amex wants to see a stable credit file and their CLI granting appears to not track with their consumers other limits.

Ah!! Okay, that's what I was thinking!!! As I build my limits on my prime cards, I may start requesting cld's on my store cards lol I have so many high limits on store cards that I only have/opened for building purposes lol!!! :-)
