Hey MyFico,

Tried to search the forums, couldn't find a thread with an answer, so anyways, Just curious how long it took before the paypal smart connect will start showin up on my report.

Oh, I thought I read somewhere it reported as a revolving line of credit because it's a GECRB product. D:

It showed up on all 3 CRA within a few days of opening the account.  I even got the first bill already (due 8/15).  I apped on 7/14.

It shows up as "GECRB/PAYPAL SMART CON".  On EX it is listed as a credit card and the other 2 it is listed as Revolving. It properly lists the CL on all 3.

Sweet, didn't think it'd show up that quick. It'll end up being the first thing on any of my reports because cap1 is quite slowpokish.

i apped on 7/15/12. got alerts on 7/20/12 & 7/21/12 that new accts were opened on equ and exp.

A new account at GECRBPAYPALSMARTCONN has been opened in your name. 
equifax lists it as credit card.

A new account at GECRB/PAYPAL SMART CONN has been opened in your name. 
experian lists it as retail trade. (not sure what that means)

i have not received any hard pull inqs for either

same here, less than 5 days of me opening it showed up

Be careful with it. I had my account go into collections after an accident i got into and I have had no luck getting the negligent account removed.  Just be sure and make all your payments on time. Paypal is no fun to work with.
