Hi,
I called JCP last week and got an CLI. I now want to do the same on my Paypal SmartConnect (opened 7/2012). The initial and current limit is $800.
For the past 3 months, I used it about $200 each month and have gotten 3 statements so far.
I plan to ask for a CLI today. Saw people from this forum who "ask-get-rejected-log on account-and-see-auto-CLI-in a few days", so I plan to do it anyway (today) since my 4th statement is coming in about 2 weeks. And if I'm lucky today to get a CLI, I think () I can call in again after the 4th to ask for an official one.
What do you think?
Thanks

Yes i think you should call and speak with an underwriter...you will get more than the automated one..good luck
I just called the number on the back of my card (1-866-571-3012) and somehow bypassed the automated voice. Talked to an Indian lady and she asked me for income. Then about 20 secs later she said "sorry, will receive a letter in 7-10 days...".
pm me later I'll give you a better number to call
I forget, does paypal smart connect have an actual account number? I know they can look up under ssn, just curious
I think you will have better luck if you try again after your 4th statement cuts. They are probably being finicky since it hasn't yet.

They have a 16 digit account number. They only show the last 4 digits online and on the statement.
I've had better luck on CLI with them by charging up over the limt and PIF the whole amount by due date. Last increase $2800 to $4300. Not for the faint of heart or those obsessed with there utilization.
