Hello everyone!  I was denied a CLI on my Paypal smart connect card and the reason stated was  " insufficient experience at your current credit line".  I have had my account for 1 year and started with a $600 limit and was increased to $900 shortly after I opened it without requesting it.  I have used it several times and paid off balance within 1-2 months in full and sometimes didn't even carry a balance at all. I was hoping for a higher limit for holiday time to take advantage of no interest offers....and the letter didn't even include credit score info like other GE cli letters and who they  pulled from.  Weird...anyone ever got this reason before?  What could I say to get a recon and is it even possible?  Thanks in advance for any guidance!!

probably an auto-rejection based on the amount of time, so they didn't even pull your report. Technically you have to wait 4 months to ask for a cli, though they can give you an auto-cli at anytime. I remember when i tried to ask for a cli 3 months after my last, i got the same response, and no score. When i get a counter offer and reject, i get a letter giving me my score.

paypal smart connect give 0% financing offers? i was approved for PPSC for 300 and was auto cli to 2200 and only used it one and for about $56

Call the underwriter number and ask for an increase...I'm sure you can find it here on the boards somewhere.  I have only had my card since July 2012 started with 500 was auto increased to 600, last month I called the underwriters and was increased to 1200 and 3 days ago increased to 4000 ....i will ask for another increase sometime in January.
