Pen Fed AMEX Approval!

Okay, I said I was going to garden, but the itch after my BK was removed got the best of me. Joined Pen Fed (used Voices for America's Troop membership to join), and apped for the AMEX Travel Rewards. Instatnt approval for 9.5k. EQ pull, 1 INQ at time of app, 7% Util, EQ score 773.

PenFed hasnt shown me any love yet. Would love their 5% card

CS800, have you applied ever?  Also, I would check if they are softing your EQ CR around once a quarter.

I opened a checking with them last Nov and was flat out denied for any card, did a recon etc with nothing. I can only see the softs on my EX, not sure how to do it on TU and EQ.

BK was 7/2002, just fell off this week. Gained 70 pts on EQ when it dropped.

Congrats! I have this card too, and I LOVE it! The 9.99% APR until 2013 is real nice too.
