PenFed Balance Transfer Question

I did spend some time googling this question but did not get the anwser I was looking for. For some reason, I am paranoid doing a PenFed balance transfer. 

I mean they are advertising for me to do it lol. And, I know even coupons I get from the gap say "subject to credit approval", but does penfed pull your reports again when you do a balance transfer? I don't really need to do it, it would just be a little cushion for on me cash and haven't used the Promise Visa yet for anything.

No they don't HP your credit again. They might SP it, but I wouldn't be too worried. I just did a BT to one of my Penfed accts and the whole process was surprisingly quick.

Will they send you courtesy checks to use if you request them?
