PenFed Gas Card App

I emailed my income verification yesterday evening and received an email at 2:31am (lol) stating the email had been forwarded to the appropriate party. Just wondering how long it takes them to make up their minds once all the documentation is in?

Still says pending on website.

Yeah....still waiting as the website says "pending" and there have been no further instructions. I know they received the income verification because they sent an email.

Verification was sent Monday......that seems unreasonably long/uncharacteristic to you?

You can wait if you want, but I, personally, would be calling.

Fired off an email and immediately received:

"Thank you for contacting Pentagon Federal Credit Union.

Due to the high volume we are currently experiencing, there is a delay in 
processing loan and credit card applications. Our records indicate the income 
information you have provided has been forwarded to a loan officer for review. 
Please allow up to an additional 24 - 48 hours for processing. We appreciate 
your patience."

Guess they're busy!

Yup. And usually so. This is not the norm. Getting kicked out of the automated flow for manual handling is really bogging things down for you.

Now if I could only figure out how to check that Costco AMEX app we'd be in business.......

That's a weird process - nothing on webpage, nothing sent to verify they even received it, and they basically tell you the only way you're going to know if you were approved is if you get the card in the mail 2 weeks.
