Re: PenFed Platinum Cash Rewards Visa® Card

Thanks resilient !

I am very happy about getting approved for the card.  It will seem more real when they actually send me the credit card with the EMV chip on in it.

There was also a part of me that wanted to see what my credit score real badly if I got rejected because I havnt gotten around to updating my scores in a while.

Interesting.  They didn't hassle you for being out of their branch service area?  Any thoughts if this is still true?

Re: PenFed Platinum Cash Rewards Visa® Card

They didnt give me a single word of hassle when I was a new member.  I joined the American Consumer Council and that qualified me to join Fort Knox FCU.

I havnt had any problems working with them.   But please note for my Frot Knox CC they do not report anything about the CC to Experian.

I havnt really kept up on reading about them on the forums after I joined.   Good luck applying if you are going to bite the bullet.

You can join the American Consumer Coucil if you do not meet their membership requirements.  I've thought about them, but I believe they are very conservative.
