When do the pre approvals come out and how long after opening a card do they include new members in the pre approval process?

The pre-approvals come out around the 1st of  Jan, April, July and Oct,  If you get them,   it's 1 year or later after you get your CC.

My wife has been a member for 30 months now. She has never received any preapprovals. However, they did give her a auto CLI on her Plat. Cash Rewards Visa at about 20 months.

Where do the preapprovals show up?

I was told I was preapproved for a car loan when I called in about my cc application status. Offer also shows up on the right side of the homepage, right in between the Transfer Funds & I want to sections.

I am a member of Penfed but there approval criteria is worse than Big Banks. They sure dont have the Credit Union feel of personalized service and less than perfect credit which the credit union was founded to provide. Dont expect many pre approvals.
