Penfed will hp EQ for membership! That hp will be used for anything you app for 90 days. Like I said they are conservative. And will hit you with the famous "pyramiding debt" denial for too many new accounts.

New accounts as in revolving credit accounts, or any type of account? I haven't opened up a revolving credit account in like 9 months. However, I have bought 2 cars withing the last few months.

Revolving. How many cards have you opened in the past yr?

2 cards as of right now were opened in the last year. However, in 5 days, one of the cards will hit the 1 year mark. So, in 6 days only 1 card will fall within the year mark.

Exactly! Not "walking like an Egyptian" like some of us lol.

(OP, to explain...some of us serial app'ers get denied by Penfed for "pyramiding debt" lol. You look to be a-ok though! Good luck.

Personal Credit? Check. Business Credit? Check.
Mission Accomplished.

Re: PenFed vs NFCU

As far as eligibilty to NFCU, I am in the process of gaining eligibility through a chain of events. My cousin is currently a high ranking officer in the Navy and I am trying to get my Uncle to join NFCU using my cousin as his sponsor. Once my Uncle joins my Mother can join using my Uncle as a sponsor and then I can join (we'll see how well that pans out).

Wow. And I can't join. Oh well, USAA welcomed me with open arms.

LOL I can find a way to join as well, but would take many people to make it happen.. Way to much of a hassle at this pointSmiley Happy.. Obviosuly NFCU everyone wants along with PenFed usually in a close second place.
