Penfed Exclusive Email Offers

I am a member of Penfed but do not have a CC with them. Denied a few mknhjs back. I received an email from Penfed this evening offering me BT offer 2.99% for 12 months 3% BT fee or 4.99% 12 months with 0% BT fee - is this a pre approval? I have never received an exclusive offer from them before. The email also had auto loan offers etc.

 I just received the same email and it  not a pre-approval offer.  It would be nice but it's not.

this email went to my spam earlier lol. its promotional, when they preapp u for something, it will be flying around your home page when you log in.

Does Penfed do a credit check for balance transfers? I see it says that BTs are subject to credit approval. Is this just saying they review proposed transfers before approving them?

they dont do a check, it just says that there like it says that there on my gap card coupons, subject to credit approval for discount lol. 

they do the quicked balance transfer too. i did one in the morning one day and it posted to the other card the next morning.

Thanks everyone! I have three displays for a lack of a better word when I log in above my Accounts- one is for the Penfed Rewards card, one is for an auto loan and the other is for a CD I believe. Not sure what ddemari meant by "flying around my homepage"?
