In addition to a SL, the emails have opt-out notices (not just unsubscribe links). It is also easy to tell since the subject line of the email says you are pre-approved. The email that went out today, is only marketing. It doesn't mean you will be approved or disapproved. Only marketing is trying to drum up business.
On the web site, you are looking for something that says "Your offers" on the right. Here is an earlier thread with pics:
