Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me understand why my application for a visa with penfed is pending and has been for 5 days already?

I called they could not tell me and just said its with a loan officer?

It means that they are still reviewing your application. The loan officer is the one that will approve or deny your application.

They must be really busy. I would wait until Monday and see what happens. If they don't have an answer by Monday, then I would start getting worried.

I wouldnt worry too much. It took them over a week for Penfed to even ask for employment verification from me. Then at least another week to find out if I was approved.

they can be a bit slow esp when they are overun by loan requests as they often are. continue to be patient, GL.
