Pre-Qualified Online!

i have 6 Major Credit Cards from 4 Banks, Chase, Bank Of America, Capital One and Discover but what really surprises me is that every single time i have tried ANY of their Online Pre-Qualify Tools from them or ANY otther Bank or Credit Institution to see if there are ANY offers i might be Qualified for, it always says "NONE" , Good thing i always apply anyway, Does this ever happened to any of you, it is frustrating sometimes...

I still don't get pre qualified for any BOA cards if its any consolation :-)

Very frustrating. I have never gotten a pre-approval. Every card I have was a blind app/hard pull. I don't want another card right now but it'd be cool to see the pre-approvals. It would be a good feeling

Can't you "opt in/out" of offers altogether? As in you may have opted out once and so you don't get them?

Lol, only cards i get prequal'd for are so-so. I have had to cold-app every prime card i have.

Thank you all...  ....i have never Opt/Out  of any Credit Card offers, i would think getting them would make me happy, i'm mostly Pre-Qualified Online for Nothing or if i do get Pre-Qualified for something is only for Secured Credit Cards, i hope that changes soon in 2015

I've never been pre qualified for anything except Comenity cards but still managed to get just about every card I've wanted. I wouldn't read into it much.

Are you entering your information exactly as it is on your credit reports? That could also be it. 

I've even heard of people geting preapprovals with old address on their reports but not their new address.

Have a security freeze on any of your reports?

Believe me yes. It doesn't bother me, just saying pre-qualified or not, i havent had any problems getting what i want. It's not some prerequisite for approvals.

I don't know why I let it bother me..but I do!  Stupid Capital One..I wouldn't even take the card if I was preapproved..just on principal..but I try at least weekly on their pre-qual.  Nothin'!  I have a perfect 20 yr credit history, never a missed payment, low utility, high scores, decent limits on decent cards but I'm just not good enough for stupid capital one. 

So, yes, I feel your pain..lol
