I check periodically to see if my pre-quals have changed because to me (and I could be wrong) it's a measure of my credit improving if the things I get qualified for change to better choices at some point.
Anyway, I did the pre-qual for Orchard and it brought up their "Orchard Bank Gold MasterCard" and I got super excited because it used to say something secured. So then I click on the terms and it indicates (in not a very obvious way) that it's a secured card... But how can it be Gold and secured? The levels as listed on their site say Secured, Standard, Gold and Platinum. Is this new? Anyone know anything about this?
