Like the best things in life...
the good offers will come when you least expect...
1)Don't use credit for any that is not very necessary.
2)pay as you go ..
any card will get you to the promised land...
after a while...you will get offers...just can't rush it!

That is no joke. It's like trying to push a basketball through a coffee straw, if you get it done you will have sacrificed the straw.

That USAA mailer turned out to be a marketer for the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) brand of their Visa Signature points reward card. A very worthy cause, but the APR was pure marketing (11.65% to 26.65%), unfortunately, so I'll pass.
