As long as it wasn't included in the BK, you might be okay.
Fortunately it was not - only really had one that was included - that one had been turned over to a CA. I am just really wondering - I guess it is more like being sooo close to a "good" score and knowing that I cannot get a "good" card for another 7 years it's just discouraging.
Oh well as my motto goes - Keep your head up and keep moving onward
Thanks

I had a bk in 2005, less than 7 yrs and was recently approved for a chase sapphire preferred visa in April 2012. FICO now around 700. Included chase in bankkruptcy.. high income over 250000

I had a BK7 in 2002 that just fell off in May. I had a Providian CC that was IIB. Providian of course changed hands a couple of times and eventually was inherited by Chase. It popped up during my application for a Chase Freedom last week, showed as a previous Chase account that was IIB. After doing a manual review with a credit analyst and explaining the BK (also denying the account even existed because I didn't think about the old Providian account having changed hands)... I was approved with a $6000 CL at the best available APR, 12.99%. That's also with a FICO over 800, but I would say there's still a decent chance for an approval.
