Providian/Washington mutual

A few yrs ago I had a providian card, piece of s--- card.:smileymad:. I got a 30 and 60 day late with them. I paid the card off during the 60 day late. they were also becoming washington mutual at the same time. However, it is  still on my credit report.
I was wondering if I applied for a card with washington mutual and was approved, would that remove the baddy from my report

Re: Providian/Washington mutual

In a word 'no'.  Since the two accounts have nothing to do with each other.  You can always send a good will request especially if you get approved.
