Only if it's customer initiated
It's a generous starting amount so I won't be requesting an increase quit yet. I think I'll wait and see how long it takes before the auto increase.

So of course you get THIS message when you apply online.
Called the backdoor number to find out my limit!! It's $3k and standard APR 22.9% after 15 month 0% intro APR. SOOO EXCITED! Happy dance! So far...my highest limit "regular" card!!
Are you sure they gave you the promo APR?
I was just approved for $5k and they did not approve the promo apr.

I'm not sure, but isn't being a customer of theirs "permissible purpose" or whatever? It seems like they can do either a HP or SP depending on their mood that day...

It is up to them, but generally unless customer initiated CLI's are SP's.
