I have a quick question. If I get denied on a card, and I want to be stubborn and keep calling in until they accept me, what do I need to say or ask over the phone?
I got denied for Cap1 VentureOne.
I was also told when I called their Account Specialist line that they couldn't see the reason why I was denied, is that true? Who would I need to talk to to get anywhere with this?
Again, I am stubborn but I know when I've pushed too far, and I do not believe I am there yet
Call back ask why you got denied again. Then figure out how to explain why you got denied; call back and make an arguement for yourself. Knowing how good your credit is will help. Try to already know what they are looking at
Yea I pull my report from EQ and TU. Scores are a minimum of 722 across the board.
So I should:
Call until I get a reason
Once I have a reason find a way to explain it
Call back until I get accepted or feel that I have pushed too far
something like that?
Oh, I guess I also should have put the most important thing on here regarding the whole point of the topic! Which number SHOULD I call for Cap1? I just went with the first one, account specialist and got someone who sounded like they were from India. I am not complaining about this. I actually work for a software company so I deal with the Indian call hub all the time xD
