Question about AMEX MR sign-up bonus

Question to the posters here who have received the AMEX MR point sign-up bonus for opening a new charge card:

Let's say your sign-up offer was 25K points. Once you reach the spend threshold, do you receive 25K + the amount of points you earned through spend, or just the 25K and then you start from there?

You get the bonus and the points for spend as well. Some cards offer a substantial bonus after first purchase and don't care if that purchase is a new living room set or a pack of gum.

Hmmm.. The reason I ask is because multiple qualifying transactions have posted and my MR points still sit at 0.

Maybe they only post after payment? I'm still getting used to this whole thing... With Cap1, you're rewards post after each transaction posts... So maybe they're just different.
