Thanks for the info. Do you think Amex will allow a PC from a Gold card to a Blue Cash Preferred? I just don't see the need for my Gold card anymore.

How about a PC from a Cost Amex to a Blue Cash Preferred?
I dont think so. Thats their co branded card. Clear and costco dont seem to have much if any options.
Just confirming:
-13 month rule applies only to upgrades (no AF to AF). You can downgrade (AF to no AF) or PC within the same "tier" (no AF to no AF) before 13 months. I did a downgrade after the 1st statement cut.
-No PC between charge and credit products.
-PC options are limited/do not exist for Costco (b/c co-branded) and Zync.
Best way is to send a secure message to Amex asking if PC is available and to which products. The list of things you can switch to is different for each card.
