My wife applied for an Amex Blue Cash Everyday card today and didnt receive an immediate decision.
She got an email a few minutes ago from the American Express welcome email regarding her "new account" but it said the application needs further review. Then, literally 30 seconds later and the website says declined.
We are both confused. She's expecting a denial, because honestly her scores are terrible (not sure why she applied) but the email was a new account email.
Does everyone get these or what...?
