Question about GE Cards.

I recently applied for a CLI on one of my GE cards (GE Luxury Card) and they denied me with a "654 out of 850" pulled from TU.  Is this their own score system or is that the actual TU score I have?

Oh I got denied due to "high inquiries" due to a car dealership running me all over the place to get approval.  I'm going to recon my CLI.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Question about GE Cards.

I'm pretty sure that GE has their own internal scoring system.

TU Fico 714 | Sesame 742 | Credit Karma 762 | Wal-Mart FICO 734 | EX FICO 695 (1/28/13) | EQ 740 (3-21-13)

Amex Blue Sky 7.2k | Amex BCE 13.1k | Citi Diamond Preferred 10.2k | CSP 5k | Bofa Cash 9k | Boa Travel 10k | Discover More 3k | Chase SW 5k | Wal-Mart 3.3k | Amazon 5k | Old Navy Visa 5k | Shell 1200 | BP 400 | VS 1500 | Sam's Discover 8.5k | FNBO Amex 16k | Chase Freedom 1.3k | Home Depot 5k | Brylane Homes 1600 | BML 2820

That score sounds like a TU FICO. They typically use in house scoring for approving you for the card and FICO's for CLI's.

Re: Question about GE Cards.

Yeah, I've tried searching the forums but came up with two different answers.  Is the highest FICO you can have 850?

Yes. If the scoring range for the model they used is 300-850, more than likely it is a FICO score.

Re: Question about GE Cards.

Yes, the letter stated "as low as 300 and as high as 850".  My TU FICO is higher than I thought, which sorta makes me happy.  Smiley Happy
