Hi,
I've never had a credit card before and I'm having trouble understanding the rates & fees page for the Extras MasterCard.
Can someone please evaluate this and see if I thought over this correctly:
1. Use the card for a cash advance to transfer to a friend's PayPal address
2. Pay the next week to avoid the 23 day interest rate fee
3. For the sake of the example, let's say I sent $35. The rates & fees page says: Either $5.00 USD or 3.00% of the amount of each cash advance, whichever is greater.
So that means I would pay the $5 fee and that's it? No other fees at all?
I believe so.
It seem to be the standard cash advance fee.
so if you don't pay with in 23 days then it will charge interest.
Thats actually wrong if you send money to someone via Paypal with you paypal mc its considered a purchase so theres no fee involved teh fee you are looking at is the Balance Transfer fee ie $3 or 5% ... Cash Advance is when you physically use the card at an ATM to withdraw cash ....
