Question about citi pre qualified/pre approval site

So I used the see which card is for me thingy and all that pops up is a Citi Simplicity card offer. It says nothing about "sorry we couldn't find any offers" but it also didn't say "congratulations you are pre qualified for this card"  and gives me just that card to apply for and no other choice... Should I go for it? Or is this just another discover it pre approval scam that makes you think you got an offer but really didn't?

The Citi pre-qualifier tool can be hit or miss.  There have been mixed reports whenever folks use it to gauge an approval, sometimes successful, other times not so much.  Results will vary.

Hmm I don't think I'm going to trust it just yet, I'm going to garden for a bit and come up smelling like roses lol
