Question about freezing CRs

So, all of my CRs are frozen. Will I get any adverse action from lenders?

Can Amex still SP you? They havn't sp me since I put the freeze on all 3 reports.

Any idea? GE already told me that they cannot sp me for CLI unless I unfreeze.

Thanks.

1. no AA from them just because you froze your reports. But they can still take adverse action against you for any reason (i.e. too high utilization, etc).

2. Your current creditors can still SP you. Other lenders can still SP you for promotional activities as well. Freezing = no HPs.

3. GE can SP you. Some lenders do not want to make any modifications to your account (CLI, Product change etc) when your files are frozen. It's just their policies.

Good to hear that. I have nothing to hide. My util is currently 2% will be 0% again once the statement is posted.

My credits are frozen because of high INQ, EX 15, EQ 5, TU 6. It is also to prevent me from apply anymore CCs LOL Smiley Very Happy
