I jumped on the US Air 50k reward from barclay last month and was approved, however, when the account posted to my CR, it shows as a "flexible spending credit card."
Anyone have any idea why? or what that may mean? I have had varous charge cards report as such, but not a credit card.
It means that you can charge over your CL but need to pay any excess plus your minimum payment on your next statement.

Thank, Irish! I assumed as much, but did not think that was a thing with barclay cards, which is why I asked.
Now... what to buy so I can test it out
I think most Visa Signature and World Mastercards are NPSL now but not sure why some report that way and others don't
My new barclays arrival card is reporting this way. I was wondering what it meant.
My Sallie Mae is reporting the same... Flexible spending CC. Gotta love the WMC perks.
Yes you never want the balance to report as higher than the CL. It means the card wont be rejected if used for a purchase which would put it over the limit, though I am not sure by how much.
My US Bank Cash+ reports that way also
