Question for Chase Amazon cardholders

I've used the card a few times so far, and have about $40 in posted charges.  However, I have no points balance showing yet.  Do I have to wait for my first statement to cut for the points balance to show up or is something wrong with my account?

I think the rewards post by the statement as opposed to after each transaction. Not entirely sure though.

All Chase cards have points show up after the statement closes. I only know a few companies that give you the rewards as soon as a transaction posts.

OK, thanks! My Cap1 card posts cashback by transaction so that's really all I've had to go by Smiley Very Happy

Re: Question for Chase Amazon cardholders

PNC and Barclays do it also. I wish all cards posted rewards that way. Sometimes I have to wait a month to find that I got no rewards for the transaction. American Express is the slowest with sometimes taking two months to give rewards.

With me it seems to take two months, no matter when I pay. I will try again next time I happen to use the card and see when it posts.
