Glad to hear of some successes despite the 5/24 rule...
I was approved for a Freedom card about 5 months ago with a $5.5k limit, so it seems like I'm in good shape for a CSP approval in the future (considering the $5k minimum credit line). I do have a Chase checking account as well, but I've transferred out the funds and the only reason I haven't closed it is because I was able to get the monthly fee waived. Probably not the kind of banking relationship Chase is looking for, so it's probably best that I hold off on the sapphire for a few more months...
